The two-year-long project of getting Ax Wound: Gender & The Horror Genre #3 out into the world has finally happened. Any day now the contributors will be finding copies in their mail boxes and people who already ordered the issue will be getting fresh new copies hot off the copy machine sent out this Monday. I had to rush a few things to get the zine out and due to my intense state of grief over the death of my dad I was unable to write a decent introduction. I also left a lot of people out of the Thank You’s. When my mind clears I plan to go back and write a new introduction. I will make it available online for the people who already purchased the zine so they don’t miss out.

What is next for Hannah Neurotica in 2010?

My short screenplay Shitfucked: A Vile Love Story will be directed by Victor Bonacore and star other members of Chainsaw Kiss. Look for it this year (2010) !
New episodes of ZINECORE RADIO & The release of the the ZINECORE RADIO BOX SET (Episodes 1-20). Yes, as of right now I have only done 17 shows. However once I hit #20 I will put this special set together. It will include all 20 episodes, a zine about zinecore radio and notes about each episode, original art/packaging, and a 1 inch Zinecore Radio pin. Upcoming guests TBA. The launch of Ax Wound Radio. I will be doing one episode a month. The first episode will premiere at the end of April and will feature contributors to Ax Wound #3 as well as past issues. This show will be a different format then other horror radio shows and hopefully be a successful counterpart to the paper zine.

On a personal note I will be applying to graduate school this year. I was on my way to doing it last year but due to my dads situation everything got turned upside down. I have a ton of essays to write and a portfoilo to put together. I will be working on this when not doing the above four things. Deadline for my application & materials: June 25, 2010 A.K.A super soon!

Oh & obviously I will be taking submissions for the Horror/Sex theme issue of Ax Wound.

now, i’m gonna go kill more zombies with my Wii.
